… crazy as hell, but you gotta give it to him.

Former starter from the axxium counterstrike source roster, CJ “kdz” Eaves, signs a $250,000 deal with the Minnesota Wild a current NHL team.  CJ played with the axxium counterstrike source team over the summer for about a season and a half.  He was then moved into a backup role because of his hockey obligations.  CJ is known for his most notable play on several cal-p 1.6 teams and with axxium for a short time.  Now at age 18 CJ will be embarking on a new journey as part of the Minnesota Wild.  We from the axxium community wish CJ the best of luck and hope that he has a good, healthy, and long career as a professional hockey player.

After a decent performance in cal-im last season with a 10-4 record the axxium counterstrike source team will be competing in cal-main.  They started out the season with a tough loss to wookie armor in OT and then bounced back winning five matches in a row.  The axxium css team now sits 5-1 in cal-main and awaits next weeks schedule for de_dust2.  They are also currently preparing for the 3rd week of the xlr8gaming.net tournament where they stand in 4th place.  The standings are as follows:

With the current success the axxium counterstrike source team has been having, they have decided to attempt to attend Lacledes Lan in St. Louis, MO March 29th.  Wish us luck as this will be our first lan as a full team.  We will be preparing over the next 5 or 6 weeks and can hopefully bring home first place.  With teams like skull gaming and roxxorz gaming center attending it should be a pretty good first event.
